Ahlgren Aquarium, touchtanks featuring over 200 local species. Find the perfect shirt at our Gift Shop in the adjacent historic Mill Building or browse our online store. Indulge your taste buds at Ludvig’s Bistro Chowder Cart.
Rent our facilities, from an apartment and bench space to the entire Sage Building. Or, browse our research library to support visiting scientists, field course students, and others. The Science Center is a fantastic place to learn, have fun, and see new things!
General aquarium admission rates are ages 13+: $15, ages 5-12: $5, and children under 5: Free
– General aquarium admission features access to over 200 local species of marine life, three touch tanks, and educational programs led by our staff.

– If you are traveling by cruise ship and wish to tour the hatchery, please contact your cruise line directly about booking a stop at the Sitka Sound Science Center.
